| Abstract: | [SPA] El trabajo analiza la estrecha relación existente entre los transportes y el desarrollo turístico en las islas, centrándose en el transporte discrecional. Para ello se analiza el peso económico, medido en VAB, población activa y empleos, del sector terciario en la economía insular y en el conjunto del estado, resaltando el papel de los transportes en ambos conjuntos territoriales. La situación del transporte discrecional en las islas merece un análisis detallado que abarca desde los coches de alquiler con conductor y sin conductor, hasta los autobuses discrecionales. Finalmente se puntualiza en una serie de aspectos singulares del transporte discrecional en las islas. ; [ENG] This article analyzes the narrow relationship existing between the transports and (he touristic development on the Balearic Islands concentrating mainly on the discretional transports. Therefore, the economical weight, measures in VAB, is analyzed, considering the active people and the employment of the third sector of (he islands economy and the entirety of (he stat, outpointing the role of (he transports in 60th territorial entireties. The situation of the discretional transport on the islands deserves a detailed analyse, which contains from the rental cars -with or without drivers- to the discretional buses. It finally points out a series of singular aspects of the discretional transports on the islands. |
