| Abstract: | [cat] El Museu del Calçat d’Inca ha experimentat un procés de transformació des d’una concepció tradicional a l’aplicació dels postulats de la museologia social. L’any 2022 el Museu rep el premi Silletto en els European Museum of The Year Awards celebrats a Estònia, en els quals es reconeix el seu treball social i d’implicació amb la comunitat. Aquesta comunicació descriu el procés de participació en aquests premis promulgats per l’European Museum Forum i el Consell d’Europa, i les conseqüències directes d’aquesta experiència per al Museu i per a la ciutat, tals com un gran increment del nombre de visitants. ; [eng] The Museum of Footwear and Industry has undergone a transformation process from a traditional conception to the application of the postulates of Social Museology. In 2022, the Museum receives the Silletto award at the European Museum of The Year Awards held in Estonia, in which its social work and involvement with the community is recognized. This communication describes the process of participating in these awards promulgated by the European Museum Forum and the Council of Europe, and the direct consequences of this experience for the Museum and the city, such as a large increase in the number of visitors. |
