| Abstract: | [cat] Article sobre el moviment de cooperació veïnal emprès a Inca durant el confinament per part d'antigues repuntadores, moltes d'elles ja sense feina per la crisi del calçat, per abastir de mascaretes el seu Hospital Comarcal. Les mateixes màquines que s'havien utilitzat per repuntar sabates anys abans van ser emprades durant la pandemia de la COVID-19 per fer mascaretes. D'aquesta col·laboració sorgí un doble reforç positiu, tant per part de les antigues cosidores, qu es tornaren a sentir útils per la comunita, com per part del personal sanitari, que per primera vegada sentí el significat de sentir-se cuidat, en aquest cas, per part de la població ; [eng] Article on the cooperation movement started in Inca during the lockdown by former females stitchers -many of whom were already unemployed due to the crisis in the footwear sector- to provide the local hospital with masks. The same machines that had been used to stitch together shoes years earlier were used during the covid-19 pandemic to make masks. A double positive reinforcement emerged from this collaboration, both on the part of the stitchers who felt useful to the community again and on the part of the health staff members who experienced real support and care from the population for the first time. |
