| Abstract: | [cat]L’Arxiu del Regne de Mallorca, entre d’altres, conserva un gran nombre de documents datats entre els segles XIII i XV, amb moltes notícies que fan referència explícita als jueus que visqueren a la vila d’Inca, així com també a la fundació d’un barri on foren reclosos a partir de 1372, conegut popularment amb el nom d’“el Call”. Sobre aquest, gràcies a diversos historiadors, a dia d’avui, comptam amb una sèrie de publicacions en què han quedat enregistrades totes aquestes dades històriques. A més d’aquestes fonts historiogràfiques, en disposam d’altres de bibliogràfiques, de diversa índole, entre les quals cal destacar: diferents llibres de la història d’Inca en què apareixen alguns capítols dedicats pròpiament a la història dels jueus; altres publicacions que inclouen una àmplia relació cronològica mitjançant la transcripció de documents històrics, de caire general, relacionats amb aquesta temàtica, a part de diversos articles que fan referència a la comunitat jueva de Mallorca, en general, i de la nostra vila, en particular. Precisament, amb el present article, no he pretès altra cosa que elaborar una primera aproximació a la història dels jueus inquers a l’època medieval a partir dels primers temps fins a les darreres notícies documentades que tenim a l’abast, sense deixar de formular algunes hipòtesis que, en un futur, puguin servir per encetar noves línies d’investigació i, d’aquesta manera, contribuir a la recuperació d’una part molt important del nostre passat i del llegat històric molt sovint oblidats. ; [eng] In the Arxiu del Regne de Mallorca, among others, a large number of documents dated between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries are preserved, with many news that make explicit reference to the Jews who lived in Inca, as well as to the foundation of a neighborhood where they were imprisoned from 1372, popularly known in Catalan with the name of “the Call”, on which, thanks to various historians, nowadays, we have several publications where they have been registered all this historical news. In addition to these historiographical sources, we also have other bibliographies, of various kinds, among which we must highlight: different books of the history of Inca where some chapters are specifically dedicated to the history of the Jews appear; other publications that include a broad chronological relationship through the transcription of historical documents, of a general type, related to this subject; apart from various articles that refer to the Jewish community of Mallorca, in general, and our city, in particular. Precisely, with this article, I have not intended anything other than to elaborate a first approximation to the history of the Inca Jews of medieval times from the first to the last documented news that we have, without stopping to formulate some hypotheses that, in the future, they can serve to open new lines of research and, in this way, contribute to the recovery of a very important part of our past and a historical legacy very often forgotten. |
