| Abstract: | [cat]Després de vint-i-dos anys d’investigacions sobre el procés d’industrialització de les Balears, sorgides totes elles especialment del camp de la història econòmica, es pot afirmar que Mallorca assolí un nivell d’industrialització força acceptable en el panorama de les regions espanyoles. Aquest desenvolupament industrial tenia com a protagonistes essencials els sectors no pautadors, amb inversions tecnològiques efectives, però sobretot amb la utilització intensiva de la força de treball. Les produccions industrials tenien demandes en els mercats exteriors: calçat, teixits, aiguardents, sabons, productes agroalimentaris, eren consumits per importants mercats europeus a França, Alemanya i Gran Bretanya; i pels mercats colonials. En aquest procés industrial, el treball de les dones fou determinant. ; [eng]After twenty-two years of research into the process of industrialization of the Balearic Islands, researches emerging especially from the field of economic history, it can be said that Mallorca achieved a level of industrialization quite acceptable in the panorama of the regions Spanish. This industrial development had as essential protagonists the non-sticking sectors, with effective technological investments, but above all with the intensive use of labor power. Industrial productions had demands in foreign markets: footwear, fabrics, brandy, soaps, agri-food products, were eaten by major European markets in France, Germany and Great Britain; and for the colonial markets. In this industrial model, the work of women was decisive. |
