| Resum-Abstract: | [spa] En este artículo se ofrece una nueva perspectiva del estudio arqueológico de las cuevas naturales en la Isla de Mallorca, aunque centrándonos en una zona muy concreta "Portocolom" (Felanitx). Es por ello que no sólo se ofrece un estudio detallado del material que se encuentra en las diferentes cuevas, sinó que además se intenta integrar en el escrito la relación de estas cavidades con su entorno, única forma a nuestro parecer para poder entender el porqué de la ocupación troglodítica en diversas épocas y periodos de la historia mallorquina. Será siguiendo está línea investigadora, cuando se planteará la posibilidad de que la explotación de los recursos marinos, al menos en época prehistórica, pueda ser una de las causas a tener en cuenta para entender estos yacimientos. [eng] In this paper a new perspective on archaeological studies of natural caves found on the island of Majorca is offered, even though this study is centred around a specific area, that of Portocolom (Felanitx). It is for this reason that not only is a detailed study of material found in different caves offered, but also an attempt, in this raport, is made to formulate the relationships between these caves and their surrounddings, this being the only way to understand the reasons for troglodytical occupation of caves at various times during Mallorcan history. This is when, by following this line of investigation, it may be proposed the possibility that the explotation of marine resources, at least during prehistoric times, could be a reason to bear in mind to help our understanding of these sites. |
