| Resum-Abstract: | [spa] Con el presente trabajo los autores emprenden el estudio geo-espeleológico del macizo calcáreo del Massanella (Escorca. Mallorca). Se esbozan en primer lugar las características geográficas de estos relieves montañosos, así como su geología y su modelado de superficie. A continuación son descritas las cavidades de la subzona denominada Es Puig den Galileu, las cuales en lo que atañe a su morfogénesis pueden ser agrupadas en tres categorías distintas: - simas de escaso desnivel, relacionadas desde el punto de vista genético con los lapiaces en que se abren; - cavidades originadas por procesos de distensión mecánica (fentes de décollement); - simas de profundidad media, en cuya morfogénesis actua como proceso dominante la disolución a favor de importantes fracturas; Son cavidades características de la zona vadosa, consecuencia del drenaje en profundidad de las precipitaciones meteóricas. Las dimensiones de las formas subterráneas del Puig den Galileu son modestas, mereciendo destacar solamente el Avenc de Sa Mola (-66 m.) y el Avenc den Lloatxim (-102 m.). En una nota posterior serán analizadas las cavidades del Puig de Massanella y Serra des Teix, exponiéndose algunas consideraciones sobre la carstificación e hidrologia del conjunto del macizo. [eng] In the present work a geo-speleological study of the calcareous massif of "Massanella" is attempted. Firstly the geographic features of these mountain ranges will be sketched, as well as their geology, surface landforms and minor sculpture. Afterwards the hypogean cavities of the sub-zone called "Es Puig den Galileu" will be described; in terms of their morphogenesic these subterranean forms can be grobped in three distinct categories: - potholes involving small depth, related -from the genetic point of view- with the karren in which they open. - cavities originated from processes of mechanical distention (fentes de décollement). - potholes of middle depth, in whose morphogenesis the dissolution along important fractures acts as the dominant process. They are cavities typical of the vadose zone, consequence of drainage in depth of meteoric precipitations. The dimensions of the subterranean forms of the "Puig den Galileu" are modest, it being worth mentioning only the "Avenc de Sa Mola" (-66 m.) and the "Avenc den Lloatxim" (-102 m.). The cavities of the "Puig de massanella" and ''Serra des Teix" ranges will be analyzed in a later note, and some remarks will be made regarding the karstification and hydrology of the massif as a whole. |
