| Resum-Abstract: | [spa] Después de exponer brevemente el estado actual de los conocimientos existentes sobre los espeleotemas freáticos, se procede a delimitar el concepto de espeleotema epiacuático, analizándose su situación dentro del amplio conjunto de depósitos carbonatados especificas de las cuevas. Se describen a continuación las características morfológicas y texturales de los espeleotemas epiacuáticos de la Cova "A" de Cala Varques (Manacor, Mallorca), al tiempo que se apuntan algunos criterios interpretativos sobre la génesis de los mismos así como sobre ciertas particularidades de su crecimiento. Se alude también a las implicaciones que supone el actualismo genético que parece comprobarse a raiz de una de las experiencias realizadas. Este hecho, junto con la posibilidad de identificar facilmente este grupo de espeleotemas freáticos, puede contribuir a una más adecuada interpretación de los depósitos de cristalizaciones subacuáticas aue se han acumulado, en ciertas cuevas costeras de Mallorca. en correspondencia con los paleoniveles pleistocénicos del Mar Mediterraneo [eng] After briefly explaining the present state of existing knowledge regarding the phratic speleothems, we then delimit the concept of epiaquatic speleothems, analyzing their situation within the large group of carbonated deposits specific to the caves. A description follows of the morphological and textural features of the epiaquatic speleothems of cave "A" at Cala Varques (Manacor, Mallorca) at the same time offering some interpretative criteria concerning their origin, as well as regarding certain peculiarities of their growth. Allusion is also made to the implications emerging from the recent and actual genetics which seem to be proved by one of the experiments made. This fact, added to the possibility of easily identifying this group of phreatic speleothems, can contribute to a more adequate interpretation of the deposits of subaquatic crystalizations which have acumulated, in certain coastal caves of Mallorca, in correspondence with the Pleistocene paleo-levels of the Mediterranean sea. |
