[spa] El turismo cultural se ha erigido como una de las modalidades principales de la actividad turística, fenómeno económico y social de masas. En España, sin embargo, todavía se presenta como un modelo alternativo y/o complementario del turismo más tradicional de sol y playa, que sigue siendo el que atrae a un mayor número de visitantes y el que genera mayor riqueza y empleo. No obstante, nuestro país cuenta con importantes recursos para crear productos de turismo cultural y, de hecho, con destinos claramente consolidados en este tipo de turismo. En esta ponencia analizaremos brevemente uno de estos destinos principales, Toledo, cuyo casco histórico y paisajes culturales son Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO. Es nuestro objetivo estudiar las realidades principales del turismo cultural en la ciudad toledana así como las problemáticas que ha generado esta exitosa actividad, tanto para su propio desarrollo como en su convivencia con otras funciones urbanas. Igualmente, también nos referiremos a las políticas turísticas de los agentes públicos locales que han intentado paliar estas disfunciones, y los resultados principales de las mismas. ; [eng] The cultural tourism has emerged as one of the main types of tourism as an economic and social mass phenomenon. However, in Spain the cultural tourism still remains as an alternative model and/or complementary to the more traditional tourism of sun and beach. The Coastal one is still attracting a quite higher number of visitors and it is the form of tourism that generates more wealth and employment. Despite of this, our country has significant resources to develop cultural tourism producís and it already has some places that are clearly Consolidated destinations of this type of tourism. In this paper we'll discuss about one of this main destinations, Toledo, where the historie center and the city cultural landscapes are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our target is to study the main realities of the cultural tourism in that place. After this, we'll examine the problems that this successful activity has generated and then we'll analyze the tourism policies that the local públic agents have carried out attempting to palliate these dysfunctions. Finally, we'll explain the results of these policies. |
