[spa] Los conventos fundados en Palma en las edades Media y Moderna contribuyeron de forma decisiva a la configuración de la morfología urbana del centro histórico. Los que todavía continúan activos son los conventos de clausura femenina que mantienen su sede histórica y su función tradicional. Estas constituyen un hito dentro de la ciudad antigua y un referente arquitectónico y urbanístico de gran interés. En la actualidad se insertan en un contexto marcado por el incremento del interés hacia el patrimonio que contrasta con la crisis que afecta al sistema conventual. La garantía de su supervivencia nos lleva necesariamente a plantear nuevas alianzas entre los conventos, la ciudad y el sector turístico que favorezcan a todas las partes. Las fórmulas ensayadas con éxito en otras ciudades sirven de garantía para el comienzo de las actuaciones en esta línea, que necesariamente conlleva una mínima apertura de las clausuras y un conocimiento de las dinámicas socioeconómicas del centro histórico. ; [spa] During the Middle and Modern Ages, enclosed convents founded in Palma, contributed definitely to the urban morphology of the historical city center. Nowadays increasing interest about heritage, contrast with the crisis that affect to this convent life system. We consider necessary to propose new alliances between the city, the tourist sector and the convents themselves, to let them survive. During the Middle and Modera Ages, enclosed convents founded in Palma, contributed definitely to the urban morphology of the historical city center. Female enclosed convents are still open and they maintain their historie placement and traditional purpose. They constitute an urban and architectonic reference into the oíd town. Nowadays increasing interest about heritage, contrast with the crisis that affect to this convent life system. We consider necessary to propose new alliances between the city, the tourist sector and the convents themselves, to let them survive. It's important to take a view over other successful examples that inelude an opening of these convents to the society and a knowledge of the socioeconomic dynamics of the historical center. |
