[spa] La relación de amistad entre el universal escritor Jules Verne y el padre del turismo cultural en las islas Baleares, Luis Salvador de Austria, nace en el año 1884 a raíz de su encuentro en Venecía en el «Hotel Inglaterra», donde el aristócrata se presenta en un primer momento ante el literato bajo el pseudónimo de Conde de Neudorf. A partir de aquel momento surge un importante intercambio epistolar y documental, fuente necesaria para que Verne se inspire en las múltiples novelas que tienen lugar, al menos en parte, en nuestra tierra. A su vez, y precisamente como consecuencia de la fama del escritor, todos aquellos relatos que transcurren en las Islas repercutirán en un amplio público lector que se interesará por el archipiélago balear, desembocando en un turismo muy vinculado al mundo literario. ; [eng] The friendly relationship between the universal writer Jules Verne and the father of cultural tourism in the Balearic Islands, Ludwig Salvator of Austria, born in 1884 before their meeting in Venice in the “Hotel England” where the aristocrat is presented at fírst to the writer under the pseudonym Earl of Neudorf. In turn, and precisely because of the fame of the writer, all those stories that take place on the islands will impact a wide readership that will be interested in the Balearic archipelago, leading to a tourism linked to the literary world. |
