[spa] La primera imagen del turismo en Mallorca se halla articulada a través de la mirada de los viajeros en sus dos vertientes: libros de viajes y pintores viajeros. Gracias a ellos las guías y carteles de turismo se ven impregnadas desde la óptica del exotismo y del paraíso. Un diálogo gestionado por textos e ilustraciones que muestran una realidad un tanto ficticia de acorde a los intereses de los primeros turistas. Partiendo de la dualidad exotismo/paraíso, la ponencia propone un recorrido por los paisajes de la isla, mostrando algunas afinidades con lo que hoy en día se entiende por turismo cultural. ; [eng] The first image of tourism in Majorca is articulated through the eyes of travelers on two fronts: travel books and traveling artists. Thanks to them the guides and tourist posters are impregnated from the perspective of exoticism and paradise. A dialogue managed by text and illustrations showing a somewhat fictional reality in line with the interests of the first tourists. Starting from the exoticism/ paradise duality, the paper proposes a journey through the landscapes of the island, showing some affinities with what today it is understood by cultural tourism. |
