[CAT] A partir de la recopilació de la toponímia de l' illa s'ha extret la terminologia geogràfica que hi apareix només com a genèrics o apel·latius i rebutjant els determinants. La toponímia objecte d’anàlisi és relativa al relleu -negatiu, positiu, sense relleu, interior i litoral-, la composició del sòl -pètria, arenosa, terrosa o indefinida, l'aigua -aiguaneixos, aigua estancada i cursos d'aigua-, i la vegetació -termes generals -. Utilitzant aquesta classificació s'analitza la freqüència dels genèrics toponímics mitjançant la comptabilització, alhora que s'explica aquesta composició i en alguns casos, també la distribució, amb l'objectiu de contribuir en la recerca i fixació de la terminologia geogràfica en català, i en especial a l’àmbit de les illes Balears. ; [ENG] An approximation to the geographic terminology of the Menorcan natural landscape. Beginning with the compilation of the name-places of Menorca, the geographic terminology which appears, has been extracted. Only generic names have been considered, so determinant names have been overlooked. The analysed toponymy deals with relief -negative and positive relief, no-relief, inner and littoral relief-; soil composition -stone, sand, ground or indefinite-; water -spring waters, water courses and moorlands-; and vegetation in general terms. Using this classification, we analyse the frequency of generic name-places by means of the accounting. At the same time, we explain the composition and sometimes the distribution of these names, too. The aim of this paper is to contribute on searching and fixing of the geographic terminology in catalan language and specially in the Balearic Island area. |
