[SPA] La palabra "logos" en el vocabulario griego tiene más de treinta significados, todos los cuales se relaciones con el significado de "palabra". No obstante, los filósofos han mostrado una clara tendencia a traducir esta palabra por "razón", la cual proviene del latín "ratio" y significa "cálculo". Esta traducción lleva implícita una transformación del significado discursivo griego al latino. Por esta razón, la traducción de "logos" por "ratio" limita las posibilidades semánticas del término traducido. Interpretamos este proceso como la primera crisis de la racionalidad en la filosofía occidental. ; [ENG] The word "Logos" has un Greek a wide semantic field, wich contains more than thirty meanings. All of them are somehow related to the meaning of "word. However, it is clear that philosophers and scholars have tendency to translate the word as "reason". This meaning comes from the word "ratio", wich meant "calculation" in Latin. This transition has implied the transition from the discursive Greek thought to the calculating Latin reason. For this reason, the transition from "logos" to "ratio" has implied a limitation in the semantic possibilities of the first word. This process caused the first reason crisis in the history of the western philosophy. |
