La cuestión también puede entenderse a partir de los conceptos de ilusión y ficción en Nietzsche (que aparecen sobre todo en relación con su teoría del conocimiento), estos conceptos marcan una nueva formulación de la apariencia; desde este punto de vista, la estructura ser/apariencia, de alguna manera. se mantiene sutilmente. aunque subvertida.
