[cat] S’analitza, comparativament, la producció de l’espai a Mallorca forjada per dues convulsions socioeconòmiques força transcendents. Per un costat el Big Bang del “paleocapitalisme” que s’inicia amb la definitiva derrota forana de les Germanies (1523) i, per l’altre, la irrupció del model econòmic vinculat al turisme i a l’activitat immobiliària que es desplega a l’illa a partir de la dècada del 1950. Es constaten els paral·lelismes i les diferències entre ambdues transformacions. Tot plegat, per aprofundir en el mecanisme de producció d’espai i plantejar-se com gestionar-lo per prioritzar l’interès general davant d’interessos privats i especulatius. ; [eng] The production of space in Mallorca results from two seminal socio-economic convulsions. This paper analyzes both of them. Firstly the Germanies rebellion defeat (1523) that is understood as the Big Bang of ‘paleocapitalism’ at the Island; and secondly the emergence of the tourism and real estate economic model deployed in the island since 1950. Our analysis front both episodes and show parallelisms and differences between them. All in all, in order to deep in the mechanism of space production and envisage how to manage it in order to prioritize the general interest in front of private and speculative interests. |
