Abstract:

Mediante un análisis prospectivo de material propio, se concluye de forma muy significativa que el uso de una torunda de algodón para la toma citológica endocervical debe ser eliminado: un 81% de las muestras no representativas y por lo tanto ineficaces para cubrir el objetivo citológico preventivo fueron tomadas con torunda. El uso del cepillo ad hoc es exigible. ; By means of a prospective analysis of own material, it is concluded very significantly that the use of a cotton swab to take endocervical cytology should be eliminated: 81% of the samples are not representative and therefore ineffective to cover the preventive cytological objective.
