[cat] Arran del primer decret d’expulsió (1609), un grup de moriscos de València que s’havia instal·lat a Argel, intentà el retorn pel fet de no poder-se adaptar a la nova situació. Era l’any 1613 i intentaren fincar-se a Menorca, on foren mal rebuts, malgrat ser persones de bona posició, i acabaren per emigrar de bell nou. ; [eng] Following the first decree of expulsion (1609), a group of Moriscos from Valencia who had settled in Algiers tried to return because they could not adapt to the new situation. It was in 1613 and they tried to settle down in Menorca, where they were badly received, in spite of being people of good position, and ended up emigrating again. |
