[cat] l’objectiu d’aquest article és l’estudi de les finances i dels mitjans econòmics del Sindicat de Fora durant els segles XIV-XVI. El Sindicat tenia dret a percebre una part alíquota dels fons monetaris de la Universitat del regne de Mallorca, però la percepció regular d’aquesta quota quasi sempre fou dificultosa i insuficient a causa del control que sobre els diners públics exercien els jurats del Regne, per això, el Sindicat va haver de recórrer a l’endeutament i a les contribucions directes —talles— per finançar-se. En el nostre estudi provam que la facultat del Sindicat per recol·lectar talles a la Part Forana fou essencial no solament per cobrir les seves necessitats econòmiques, sinó per assegurar la pròpia pervivència. Finalment, exposam unes breus consideracions sobre la figura, la trajectòria i les atribucions dels síndics clavaris. ; [eng] the aim of this article is the study of the finances and the economic mediums of the Sindicat de fora during the XIV-XV centuries. The Sindicat perceived its proportional share from the monetary funds of the Kingdom of Majorca. However, the perception of this share was almost always difficult because the Jurats of the Kingdom held a strong control over the public money. Consequently, the Sindicat had to get into debt and to put direct tatxes —talles— in orde to cover their expenses. Our study shows that the faculty of the Sindicate’s Councyl to colect talles from the Part Forana was essential not only to meet the Sindicat’s expenses but to guarantee their own survival. Finally, we give a short reflection on the figure, the political career and the powers of the síndics clavaris (members of the Sindicat). |
