[spa] Es un estudio sobre la evolución histórica de la oferta educativa de las Illes Balears, especialmente en la Part Forana mallorquina, entre la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y el primer tercio del siglo XX. A continuación, se explica la legislación educativa desarrollada a partir de la Ley Moyano del 1857, el funcionamiento de la administración escolar (la Junta Provincial de Instrucción Pública, las Juntas locales, la Diputación Provincial), y su intervención en el impulso de la escolarización formal. También se hace mención al irregular pago de los salarios de los maestros y a la lenta construcción de nuevos edificios escolares, así como a la diversa oferta y demanda educativa de las distintas comarcas mallorquinas. ; [eng] A study is made of the historical evolution of the educational supply in the Balearic Islands, particularly in the area lying outside Palma, known as Part Forana in Mallorca, between the second half of the XIXth century and the first third of the XXth century. Subsequently, there is an explanation of educational legislation resulting from the Moyano Act of 1857, the role of the authorities (la Junta Provincial d'Instrucció Pública -the Provincial Board of Instruction-, les Juntes locals -the local Boards-, la Diputació Provincial -the Provincial Council-) and their participation in the thrust of formal schooling. Particular mention is made of the irregular payment of the teachers wages and the slow construction of new scholastic buildings, taking into account the extent of the educational supply and demand in the various regions of Mallorca. |
