[cat] Aquest text resumeix la investigació realitzada sobre el Concurso Provincial de Coros Escolares, activitat celebrada al Teatre Principal d’Inca que romangué activa entre 1970 i 1979. Aquest important esdeveniment educatiu, social i cultural era organitzat pel Col·legi Mixt Llevant i cada any congregava entre deu i quinze corals infantils i/o juvenils de tot Mallorca. El concurs ajudava a disminuir les tensions entre col·legis públics i privats, i era un esdeveniment únic en la seva tipologia. El cant coral infantil era el protagonista d’una vetllada que reunia prop de 400 espectadors. ; [eng] This text summarizes the research carried out on the Provincial School Choir Competition, an activity held at the Teatre Principal d'Inca that remained active between 1970 and 1979. This important educational, social and cultural event was organized by the East Mixed School and every year gathered between 10 and 15 children's and/or youth choirs from all over Mallorca. The Competition helped reduce tensions between public and private schools and was a unique event of its kind. Children's choral singing was the star of an evening that brought together nearly 400 spectators. |
