[cat] Inca, segon nucli urbà de major entitat demogràfica de l’illa de Mallorca, es troba sotmès als habituals problemes de congestió i connectivitat que caracteritzen ciutats que han patit un creixement urbà exponencial al llarg dels segles XIX i XX de resultes de la revolució industrial. Aquest creixement es desenvolupà sobre una trama urbana històrica eminentment de base almoràvit. Per solucionar aquest problema, el Pla General d’Ordenació Urbana aprovat als anys 80 del segle XX ja preveia la construcció d’una variant anomenada Ronda Nord. Aquesta comunicació tracta d’explicar la Ronda Nord des del punt de vista de la planificació territorial alhora que realitza una aproximació al posicionament de les parts implicades atenent necessitats i motivacions, juntament amb les possibles conseqüències ambientals i territorials que provocaria la seva construcció. Per superar aquesta situació, hom proposa solucions toves de connexió entre barriades i la creació de la Falca Verda de la Façana Nord d’Inca que disminuirien els riscos ambientals tals com la contaminació atmosfèrica i les inundacions, tot creant entorns urbans més amables, amb espais oberts i verds. ; [eng] Inca is the second largest town on the island of Mallorca. It is affected by the usual problems of traffic congestion in those cities that have experienced exponential urban growth throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries because of the industrial revolution. This growth developed on an Almoravid-based historical urban configuration. To solve this problem, the General Plan of Urban Planning approved in the 80s of thetwentieth century proposed the construction of a variant called “Ronda Nord”. This communication assesses with a territorial planning perspective the different projects to build the Ronda Nord and the needs and motivations of stakeholders along with the possible environmental and territorial impacts that could generate its construction. To overcome this situation, soft solutions are here proposed as connection between neighbourhoods and the creation of a Green Wedge in the North Face of Inca. These solutions may reduce environmental hazards –such as air pollution and floods– and create naturefriendly urban environments, with open and green areas. |
