[cat] El Concili Ecumènic de Trento, a la sessió XXIV, acordà que totes les parròquies duguessin registre de baptismes, confirmacions, matrimonis, mandes pies o difunts i que els guardassin al seu arxiu parroquial i després, al cap d’uns anys, els entregassin a l’arxiu de la Cúria. Segons el dret canònic l’arxiver de l’Arxiu Parroquial és el rector, que moltes vegades demanava la col·laboració d’un vicari o, més modernament, d’un seglar. A més, el Concili manà que s’havia de dur el llibre d’Status animarum ; [eng] The Ecumenical Council of Trento, at its XXIV session, agreed that all parishes carry baptismal record, confirmations, marriages, mandes pies or deceased and kept them in their parish archive, and then, after a few years delivered to the Curia archive. According to canon law the archivist of the parish archive must be the rector, who often requested the collaboration of a vicar or, more recently, from a secular. In addition the Council ordered that it has to be a book of "Status animarum". |
