L’any 1918, l’inquer Gabriel Llompart i Jaume fou consagrat bisbe i fins al 1922 (quasi 4 anys) fou bisbe de Tenerife, d’allà passà a Girona i tres anys més tard fou nomenat bisbe de Mallorca, i ho fou fins a la seva mort ocorreguda el 9 de desembre de 1928. Aquesta comunicació versa sobre els tres res anys en què el nostre il·lustre conciutadà exercí la seva tasca pastoral com a bisbe a la diòcesi de Girona. Donam relació de tot quant es publicà en el Boletín Oficial del Obispado de Gerona. ; In 1918, Gabriel Llompart Jaume, from Inca was consecrate bishop and untill 1922 he was bishop of Tenerife, from there he wents to Girona and two years late he was appointed bishop of Mallorca and he was bishop ultil his death the 9 of desember of 1928. This paper is about the two years that our illustrious citizen exercises his pastoral work as bishop of the diocese of Girona. We give account of everything that was published in the Boletín Oficial del Obispado de Gerona. |
