[spa] El yacimiento cárstico de la “Cueva Victoria” ha proporcionado además de numerosos restos de mamíferos fósiles, que permiten datarlo como perteneciente al interglaciar Gunz-Mindel, una serie de restos antropogénicos. El depósito de la “Cueva Victoria” es hasta la fecha el más antiguo de la Península Ibérica donde se ha podido atestiguar la presencia humana.
[eng] The “Cueva Victoria” karst (Murcia, Spain) has fournished an abundant macro and microfauna belonging to the Gunz-Mindel interglaciar. It has also fournished remains of bone and lithic industry. “Cueva Victoria” is, at the moment, the oldest locality of the Iberian Peninsula with remains of human activity. |
