[cat] La inesperada troballa d’una sala del tinell en una casa particular del carrer de Sant Bartomeu de Palma (antiga Can Santacília) feu que es descobrissin setze escuts que blasonen les bigues mestres, capitell, permòdols i capçal de biga que suporten l’enteixinat de la sala. Tots els escuts representen una mateixa figura heràldica: un lleó. A més, alguns d’aquests escuts es representen amb la creu de sant Jordi i l’elm amb cimera. L’estudi documental de la casa i l’estudi heràldic de les armories trobades revelen la filiació dels escuts i la propietat de la casa, que resulten pertànyer al cavaller Bernat Febrer, uns dels personatges més influents de la Mallorca de principis del segle XV. ; [eng] The unexpected discovery of a medieval hall in a private house on Sant Bartomeu street, in Palma (old Santacília’s House), discovered sixteen shields that emblazon the main beams, capital, corbels and footing, all of them supporting elements of the coffered ceiling of the medieval room. All the shields represent the same heraldic figure: a lion. In addition, some of these shields are represented with the cross of Saint George and the helmet with a crest. From the documentary study of the house and the heraldic study of the coats of arms, found the affiliation of the shields and the property of the house is revealed, which turn out to belong to the knight Bernat Febrer, one of the most influential personage in Mallorca at the beginning of 15th century. |
