[eng] A palm of a right propodus of an anomuran crustacean from the Pliensbachian (Lower Jurassic) levels of the Es Cosconar Fm. at central reliefs of the Island of Mallorca is described herein. The morphological features of the propodus allow to assign it to the genus Schobertella (Schobertellidae, Paguroidea). This find represents the first decapod described from the Jurassic of the Balearic Islands, as well as the third record of Iberia from the Lower Jurassic, and one of the oldest decapod anomuran in the world.
