[cat] L’octubre de 2021 es va dur a terme el primer recompte fotogràfic d’individus de voltor negre Aegypius monachus a Mallorca amb la participació de 68 voluntaris. Si 13 anys abans, el 2008, es va calcular que hi havia 123 voltors, al 2021 la població s’ha triplicat, amb un resultat de exemplars, el que confirma l’espectacular recuperació de la darrera població insular de voltor negre del món. L’article analit a la progressió demogràfica que l’ha portat fins aquí, presenta la proporció d’individus reproductors i no reproductors de la població (càlcul que no és possible fora d’una població tancada, com aquesta) i el paper que estarien jugant els individus flotants en la recuperació poblacional. ; [eng] In October 2021, the first photographic count of individuals of Cinereous vulture Aegypius monachus in Mallorca was carried out with the participation of around 70 volunteers. If 13 years ago, in 2008, it was estimated that there were 123 individuals, by 2021 the population had tripled, with a result of 332 specimens, thus confirming the spectaular recovery of the last island population of Cinereous vulture in the world. The article analyses the demographic progression that has brought it to this point, presents the proportion of breeding and non-breeding individuals in the population (a calculation that is not possible outside a closed population, such as this one) and the role that floating individuals would be playing in the population recovery. |
