[cat] Primer registre del gallet faver africà (Porphyrula alieni) a les Illes Balears. El 8 de gener de 2002 un gallet faver africà {Porphyrula aliení) immadur fou observat en una bassa temporal, en un camp de la possessió des Pagos, Porreres, Mallorca. L'au fou capturada i anellada l'11 de gener. Aquesta és una espècie divagant des d'Àfrica (al sud del Sàhara) no registrada anualment a Europa. Aquest registre és el tretzè per a l'espècie a Espanya i la primera per a les Balears. Està pendent de ser homologada pel Comitè de Rareses de la SEO. ; [eng] First sighting of Alien's Gallinule Porphyrula alieni in the Balearic Islands. On 8th January 2002 an immature Alien's Gallinule Porphyrula alieni was observed at a temporary pool, in the a fields of Es Pagos, in Porreres, Mallorca. The bird was trapped and ringed on the l l t h of January. This is a vagrant species from Àfrica (south of the Sahara) not recorded annually in Europe. This record is the thirteenth of the species for Spain and the first for the Balearics and it's pending to be accepted by The Spanish Rare Birds Committee, SEO. |
