| Abstract: | [CAT] La transformació econòmica, social i territorial produïda a les Illes Balears és un efecte de l’impacte del procés de desenvolupament basat en el turisme de masses. S’analitzen les fases del canvi territorial en el món rural balear i les seves principals manifestacions, com la colonització residencial impulsada per la demanda estrangera i els nous usos turístics i recreatius que caracteritzen el nou estadi postproductivista, alhora que es descriu la percepció que té el món agrari balear d’aquesta nova realitat ; [ENG] The economic, social and territorial transformation produced in the Balearic Islands is an effect of the impact of the development process based on mass tourism. The phases of territorial change in the rural Balearic world and their main consequences were analyzed, as were the residential colonization stimulated by the foreign demand and the new tourism-based and recreational uses that characterize the new postproductivist status. Furthermore, it describes the agrarian Balearic world’s perspective of this new reality. |
