Conocer el comportamiento del clima marítimo, y especialmente del oleaje, es vital para determinar el alcance tierra adentro de la zona marítimo-terrestre, y por tanto para fijar los deslindes del dominio público. Al mismo tiempo, una abundante y fiable información sobre el oleaje en los diferentes puntos de la costa española permitirá garantizar las condiciones de navegación y salvaguardar personas, bienes y las condiciones ecológicas de este entorno. Sin embargo, a pesar de la obligatoriedad impuesta por el Reglamento de la Ley de Costas, la disponibilidad de un banco de datos oceanográfico sobre clima marítimo es un hecho relativamente reciente. Las redes automáticas de medición del oleaje, escasas y dispersas, han experimentado una reciente mejora en los últimos años, pero aún distan mucho de aportar la suficiente información. Para paliar esta deficiencia, se simula el comportamiento del oleaje mediante modelos predictivos. Su utilización, cada vez mayor, debe ser, sin embargo, puntual, y sólo como complemento de los datos obtenidos por el instrumental específico. ; To know the behavior of the maritime climate, and especially of the surge, it is vital to determine the inland scope of the maritime-terrestrial zone, and therefore to fix the limits of the public domain. At the same time, abundant and trustworthy information about the surge in the different points of the Spanish coast will allow to guarantee the conditions of navigation and to safeguard persons and goods, as well as the ecological conditions of this environment. Nevertheless, in spite of the legally binding imposed by the Regulation of the Coastal Law, the availability of an oceanographic memory bank on maritime climate it is rather a recent fact. The automatic networks to measure the surge, until now scarce and dispersed, have in the last years experienced a recent improvement, although they are still really far from providing all the information required. To conceal this fault, the behavior of the surge is simulated by means of predicting models. Its increasing utilization, must be, nevertheless, punctual, and only as a complement of the information obtained by the specific set of instruments |
