[eng] Census and monitoring of the breeding population in Mallorca of the Red Kite Milvus milvus, year 2000. We show the results after monitoring the breeding pairs of Red Kite on the island of Mallorca in the year 2000. In all, 7 sure pairs were found and 2 posible, all situated in a precise area of the Serra de Tramuntana. We also discuss the aspects related to breeding success, productivity, breeding phenology, occupied territories and sites of the nests. |
